gates slave lost in apple world

my mom bought a mac 2si from a neighbor for 20 bucks. has b/w display, but
is an rgb monitor. as a lifetime dos slave, i was having lotsa fun exploring
this strange and new world. however, i musta fubar'ed somehting, as i
changed some memory settings and now it wont boot to the hard drive, i just
get a floppy icon with a question mark. is it possible to download something
via my pentium II to boot this thing up. am i asking really stupid
questions...because, boy, i really FELT stupid upon seeing an apple screen
for the first time...i had NO idea what to do, but it was FUN! i wanna
continue to explore this world and figure that, while this is probably am
ancient machine (even though i dont know that it is), it is worth the
effort. while i had the hard drive up, it seemed to have a 60 meg or so hard
drive with claris and word and after dark, etc. and it has four strips of
ram on the motherboard (16?). does this have a modem, sound card, etc.
please help!
