Well, if I have the pinout then I can take the chip out and use it on a
receiving end.  Though,
I have been thinking about just ordering a few 40 pin dips instead.

Also, if I have the pinout I can tap into it and change it to talk on a
ethernet network directly.
That would definitely be cool.
