All things considered, I think that I'll be better off using a plain Laser 128
with the memory card pulled off of a later model, and an 8X ZipChip. The plan
is to use this with some sort of large capacity volume connected up to the
expansion slot.
True, the expansion slot uses slot 5, so it will have to be booted up with
"PR#5", but that is a small price to pay for having twice the MHz.
Will the Laser128 accept a NoSlot Clock to make up for the one on the control
panel of the 128EX/2? Not a big point with me since I've had such short
lifespans with my NoSlot Clocks (hours, days long only), but now seems the time
to ask.
