That was not my point. I use PC's too. The point I was trying to make
was the methods used by the industry giants to dupe the PC users to
beta test products and pay for the privilege.

By the way, over clocking cpu's has been around for quite awhile. It
is not recommended for everyone. The cpu speed ratings are only
the manufacturers tested speeds. Higher speeds can cause data
loss, system instability as well as premature system failure.
