Humor:

The GS is a wonderful machine,
built in a time when console was king.

It can access 8 megs of ROM and 8 megs of RAM,
with serial ports that do printing and networking on an Appletalk lan.

Music can be made through the 16 channel chip from Ensoniq,
though two channels are used for timing and the others paired to get
stereo phonic.

The video is excellent providing 3200 colors simultaneously,
except only 16 can be on a line at one time using palette memory.

To the competition of the day this machine was technically superior and
sound,
we feel the loss for its decline was not based on merit but on egos bent
on placing it in the ground.

Now to the business savy of the likes of Jobs,
and to the techical wizard of Woz.
If there was a way to go back to get what was lost in the competition
storm,
some would go back and GS would be reborn.
Since that is not possible for Apple had made the Mac with which to
sever,
there will always be a small group proclaiming Apple 2 forever.
