NT is a true 32 bit OS (according to Microsoft) It uses it's own I/O methods.
Because of this it is hard to emulate a dos machine. The simplest solution is
to boot from a DOS floppy but you may not have access to the hard drive. There
is a more expensive solution from a company called VMWARE. They market software
which runs a virtual PC under NT (and Linux) which you can install DOS,
Windows, etc. For personal use the cost is $99.
