I played the 8 bit version a couple of years ago on a IIe and remember being
very impressed with it. It would use either hi-res or double hi-res if you
had it. The speed on a stock 1MHz IIe was quite impressive for a double
hi-res game, I always got the impression from other computer games that to
do that sort of animation you needed a much faster computer. Obviously the
programmers were good at their job.
