"Thexder"

Hi guys,

    A few years ago when the Asimov site kicked in, I was surprised to see
and hear that Thexder from Sierra had been released for the 8 bit Apple
II's!  

    I was a pretty avid A2 gamer back in those days and never heard of
Thexder released for the 8 bit II's.  Anyone have any info or heck even
the original game?  I'm just curious of the background since I don't
recall seeing any news about it.
