When the Atari ST was released, you had you choice of a single-side or
double-side drive. To make matters more confusing, the 1040ST had a
double-sided drive built-in, so if you were going to get another drive,
you were better off getting the more expensive double-sided drive.

On actually buying the media, I don't think I saw any ssdd 3.5" disks.
