They must be pretty rare.  I never encountered a single sided 3.5" drive
on a PC, and they were only around for about three years on the Lisa and
Mac (using Apple's 400K single sided format).

I've seen a small number of single sided 3.5" disks on the Apple II
(e.g. one of my Copy II+ master disks), but never been able to buy them.
