I've been told by very knowledgeable and reliable people that one can read Apple II 800k DS/DD 3.5" disks on the Mac with Mac disk drives. On the other hand, a friend tells me that while her Mac SE 30 can read the disks, doing this on later model Macs may ruin the disk drive. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with regard to this question? Thank you Jim O'Reilly
