The reason for this is that DOS 3.3 includes a "patch" at $BFC8 (called
from $B741) which puts a $00 at $E000 in the Language card. By zero'ing
$E000, the language detect routine fails to detect Integer BASIC.

The reason that DOS 3.3 included the $E000 patch was due to the fact that
some programs used the "Language Card" region for their own purposes
without overwriting $E000. This caused DOS to incorrectly assuming the
Integer BASIC was loaded. This caused the machine to crash when it
attempted to execute code in the overwritten area.
