I got a //e. Now what?

I just got a //e and some additional hardware (80col/64k card,
Disk-interface, super-serial card II, duo-disk and a 3 1/2 platinum drive
are coming)

Unfortunately the machine came without software or documentation.

Now I have some questions:

The machine has a 80col card. When I switch it on (without the disk
controller) it boots a Basic interpreter but only in 40col mode. Can I
switch to 80col or does this require DOS or ProDOS?

Can I somehow make a boot disk for DOS 3.3 or ProDOS from an image file? I
have a Mac with a Superdrive that is supposed to be able to format disks
in ProDOS format. But how do I get the operating system onto this disk?
Would an emulator like Bernie be of any help here?

Can the 3 1/2" and the duodisk be used together? (eg. Drive 1 is the 3
1/2", drive 2+3 is the duodisk)

Is there a place where the manuals of the //e are available in online
form? I found a IIgs manual but none for the //e.
