David,
I just picked up a IIc+ and it does have a volume knob. It has been
moved to the location where the 40/80 switch use to be. The 40/80
switch is gone.
Another neat feature if that the IIc+ has the ability to use standard
Apple 3.5 drives rather than just the Unidisk 3.5. It can use up to 3
external Apple 3.5 drives (mapped to S5,D2, S2,D1 and S2,D2) plus two
Apple 5.25 drives. It can also use an external Apple Superdrive but
only as an 800K drive.

Not sold in Canada. That's why I'm excited to own one.

Although technically an Apple II item, most consider this a Macintosh
peripheral. (Or is the Macintosh a peripheral to the Apple IIe card?)
