Hi, the 50/60Hz refers to AC frequency. This means the monitor
works both in North America (60Hz) and in the rest of the world
(50Hz). However, sync is different. The Mac and PC use 30kHz
at the minimum. The Apple IIGS, Amiga 1000, and Atari 520ST
used 15kHz. Thus, when you DO get a picture, the Mac will
scan twice as fast as the IIGS monitor will sync at. That's why
you get two clear pictures! ;-)

To get proper results, you'd have to have one of those Mac/PC
to video converters. In addition to NTSC composite video, some
units also output 15kHz RGB. This is intended for LCD
projection displays which often use 15kHz, but it also works
well with the IIGS RGB monitor (aka AppleColor RGB).
