Spectrum 2.2 telnet question...

A member of our user group recently upgraded to Spectrum 2.2 and SIS
1.1. His attempt to telnet into our freenet was successful, however his
download attempt wasn't. It would fail to download a file via ZModem.

Checking things from the freenet side, I see:

                    TIMEOUT due to pathname failure...

His install and subsequent telnets were successful yet the download
continually fails even when using a shell account and a Unix 'sz' command.
It's not the network as this was attempted in the wee morning hours and
the network was quiet. It was also attempted from a local box that
doesn't network to the Internet with the same results.

We tried every switch possible with sz with no success. Regular
downloads with a serial connection from Spectrum work fine. There is a
specified subdirectory set up for downloading,

   Any ideas and help appreciated.

Thanks...
