That's definitely not the Laser controller he has in mind (which
I recommended).
The Laser UDC card works fine with ProDOS and I used GEOS
with it on my IIe back in my IIe days.
What does your card look like?
The Laser UDC is a half-length card with two DB ports. It should
say "Video Technologies" or "V-Tech" on the card.
