Re: Exactly what 800K 3.5 drive do I need?

Your 5.25 controller won't run a 3.5" drive, You can hook ant 3.5 disk drive
made by Apple to the IIe with the right interface card. While none are common,

her's the more common ones
The Liron card is required to use the 3'5" Unidisk.
The Superdrive card will let you use the platinum 800k & 1.4mb drives, (The
grey drives with the eject button)
The Universal Disk Controller(UDC) card will let you use the Mac 400k &
800k drives(no eject button) and the 800k platinumdrive. With a lot of UDC
cards the eject button often doesn't function.
