It can display up to 16 fixed colors, but only in graphics
modes.  Text modes are always monochrome.

Like everything Apple II, there's always an exception or ][.  It seems to me
that a IIe can display colored text with at least some RGB cards.  I believe
that the Applied Engineering Ramworks II/III RGB add-on allows four different
colors of text to be selected.

Yes, I know he's using a TV set, but I've been on comp.sys.apple II for 13
months now, so I've developed technical-e-i-tis too.  Please pardon my rude
ramblings.
