True, but the original request was to transfer diskettes from a IIe.  Even
assuming that a hard drive was available (or a sufficently large RAM disk, or
3.5" floppy drive to store enough files/images on) you would first have to
copy everything over to that medium, download them to their own directories
on the PC.  Also, ADT keeps the diskette in its original format (ie. ProDOS
or DOS 3.3, probably others) so you don't have to sort out what belongs on
ProDOS drives and what belongs on DOS 3.3 floppies.  Then there is stuff which
is not in either format, for which ProTerm can not be used at all.

And either method still does not solve the problem of more sophisticated
encoding methods (for copy protection).

But, if you were given a IIgs to do this on, you are probably correct.  But
a lot of us don't have a IIgs (and I tend to use my IIgs as a glorified IIe.)
