The revised statutes had a figure like a $1,000 before the government gets
involved and before it is a criminal offense. I used to have a copy of the new
law but have misplaced it. Unless the value of the product reaches the trigger
limit; the onus is still on the copyright holder to pursue civil action against
the wrongdoer.
