Oh, please, Rubywand, get your head out of your posterior and read
what people are saying to you. We are not upset because Turley
posted about K-Fest, we are upset because of what and how he posted.

I've read Jeff's posts, I've read Ryan's Lamp, both on Genie and
since he went to Delphi. The big difference between them (and most
everyone else here) and Turley is that those folks write about their
own experiences, IN THEIR OWN WORDS. When they quote other people in
an article, they use only enough to make the point, and they usually
get the other guy's permission first.

Turley, once again, has lifted other people's whole posts verbatim
from another forum, pasted them together, and published it as his own
work. He did not get the other authors' permission to use their
words, and in some cases, he ignored their stated DENIAL of
permission to publish their words or works. That is NOT Fair Use,
and it is not covered by the journalist's or educator's exemptions.
It is PLAGARISM and VIOLATION of COPYRIGHT. He apparently violated
Delphi's explicitly-stated Compilation Copyright when he republished
whole blocks of posts from the K-Fest threads, and he certainly
violated the
authors' implicit copyright protection under the Berne Convention and
U.S. Copyright law.

If Turley had written an article, using his own words, based on
information contained in the Delphi threads, he might have been okay.
Instead, he stole other people's words and used them as his own.
That's the issue. And, as usual where Turley is involved, you are on
the wrong side of it.
