It's good to see that you've abandoned the goofiness about stealing
"works".
So, now, the complaint is that an Apple II news 'zine quoted publicly
posted "words" (i.e. chat) about an Apple II event and, my goodness, without
permission?!
Want another try?

Good grief! Your A2 publication (Juiced GS) has my 'undying support',
too. There; feel better?

So far, you seem to be the one trying a "rewrite". Won't work. We all
know very well that had Jeff B. or Gina written the report you guys would
have been falling all over yourselves with congratulations.
Well, what about charging Jeff or Gina with "callous disregard, lack of
courtesy and flagrant disrespect" for doing the piece without permissions?
All we need do is refer to your fellow Delphonian's comments posted here:

Um, I've been quoted in the lamp and have never been asked for permission.
However, I feel that posting in a public forum gives implicit permission.

Obviously, there would have been zero complaints about "theft" of chit chat.
You would have been too busy coming up with some award for the creator of the
report.
It just sticks in your craw that Dr. Tom is the one who did the report
and that he got it out while it was News-- i.e. you're jealous.

The criticism may, at times, be a bit pointed. On the one hand, we want
you to remain a part of II computing, to participate in the fun of building
it, and to prosper. On the other hand, efforts to shut down access to old
software, to put down new users, and to drive away those with whom you do not
agree must be opposed.
If you want KFest to be a kind of club meeting for a few old timers,
then, do nothing because that is what it has become. If you want the Fest to
truly flourish, then, you will need to open things up and accept input and
help from all of those users you've been calling "pirates".

Thoughts are always welcome.
