What the heck is a Apple II UDS Interface card ?

 Hi, 
I just picked up a Davong Systems Apple II UDS Interface Card  (Rev A)
from a guy. It looks like a SCSI interface. Has some monster cables
included. I don't want to plug this thing in until I get some info on
it. 
First question is just what the heck it this thing ???  (:
Second question is what are the W1 and W2 jumper's for ?
Will Apple's SCSI tools work with this _thang ?
Any-one have the real software for it ?
What was the last Rom Version for it. (I have 33-800003).
I can blast a Rom Image if any-one has a newer image.

Can you help me Unwrap the cloak of mystery (:
