I did this and telnet worked.  However, it doesn't give me vt100 so the
screen goes white (it should be black) and there are a scramble of control
codes all over the screen intermixing with the text onscreen so I can't
read anything.  Any suggestions are appreciated here.  :-)

Also I got a lockup prior to removing all the DA's that was simply a
beep, a black screen, a little apple moving back and forth across the
screen and a message 'unclaimed sound interrupt'.  Huh?
