A standard 5.25" .dsk disk image file is 143,360 bytes long. It contains all
of the data bytes for one side of a 5.25" diskette. The disk image can be used like
a disk by Apple II emulators. It can, also, be converted back to diskette form on
an Apple II.

You can use a standard NULL modem connection to transfer a 5.25" .dsk disk
image file to your Apple II and use DSK2FILE 4.3 or 5.1 to convert the disk image
file to diskette form.

OR

You can download ADT v1.21 or v1.22 and use ADT to transfer the 5.25" .dsk
file to your Apple II and directly to diskette. Again, this involves a NULL modem
connection. However, to get ADT going you do not need to already have a telecom
program installed on your Apple II.

The ADT package includes both the PC and Apple II sides of ADT (and
directions). You can move the Apple II ADT program to your Apple II without having
an A2 tcom program.

Another ADT plus is that you do not need space to store the disk image file on
your Apple II-- the file is written directly to the target diskette as it is
transferred. For more info see http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2T1TCOM.html .
