I admit. I like my PC. I am also not fond of the label Wintel since
I don't use Intel hardware. ;-)
The PC market is very multifaceted. You can run on Intel or you
can support a competitor like AMD, Cyrix/IBM, or IDT, makers
of the WinChip line of CPUs. Software wise, you can run Linux,
NeXT, BeOS and now even MacOS. ;-)

Sometimes. I admit, I have no great love for the old Macs like
the Mac Plus. Macs that Apple tried to shove down us II users'
throats. However, I've also defended the CURRENT Macs on
numerous occasions when I see them unfairly portrayed on
csa2. This might be not so obvious now, but not so long ago,
I defended the PowerMacs in lively debates with Mitch Spector
when he still frequented csa2.
I see PowerMacs in a different light because I applaud Apple
for not doing to the 68k Mac folks what they did to Apple II
users. They've learned their lesson.
I think the iMac is really cool!
Nonetheless, it is too late for me. Apple lost me a long time
ago when they had not yet learned that lesson.

In my opinion, he planted the seeds for anti-Apple II mentality
at Apple.

That's why we can all live in peace in csa2. ;-) We're all
Apple IIGS users and fans! Apple II Forever.
Let me just say for the record that I did not post the info
about Gemulator Pro to bash the Mac. I did so because
I am genuinely enthusiastic about this emulator. Imagine
running Mac OS 8.1 on a PC! I would think Mac users
would be happy about this. After all, more copies of
Mac OS will be sold and more Mac software used. The
fact that the emulated Mac can access HFS Zip disks
makes it all the more appealing for IIGS users since that
means file sharing between IIGS and PC (emulated Mac)!
For sure, this emulator will likely snag me and if it can
get ME to run MacOS, imagine the legions of Windows
PC users that can be brought over!
