Re: Turn your PC into a Mac to do stuff for IIGS?

Never could understand PC bashing, Mac bashing, or any other platform
bashing.
Usually I'll only say something either way if I feel a particular statement is
incorrect
not through any dislike of a particular platform. I have personal preferences
but I
don't expect anyone else to have the same preferences in computer platforms or

movies or brands of coffee. Occasionally I've been asked for advice on what
computer to buy. I always find out the situation and suggested one platform
or the other and occasionally a specific model. Whatever fits that persons
needs
the best.

For myself though my first 4 computer choices would be different models of the

Apple II. Much as I hated to I was forced to buy a non Apple II computer
simply
because there are things I simply can't do on an Apple II. Things like Scan at
500 dpi,
print photo quality graphics, burn CDs, graphical web browsing, etc. While I
now do
most of my computing on a non Apple II computer, it soesn't have the same
excitement.
New Apple II stuff has kept me up all night a number of times, that's never
happened
with another platform.
