Yes, I have only got an old Apple ][+ revision 1 48k and language card! I
have only been able to get files off the net by downloading them to my Mac
and sending them on 3.25" ProDOS disks to a friend who is not on the
Internet, but who has a GS. He sends me 5.25 disks in return which I can
use on my Apple ][.
I have been able to connect the Mac directly to the Apple ][ using an Apple
Asynchronous Serial Interface Model 7710A. I have been able to transfer
individual files, but not entire disks. The proceedure I used was to run
the "Stop the Madness" Apple ][ emulator program to load the disk images. I
could then look at individual files and send them to the ][ using
ClarisWorks terminal program file transfer function.
What I would like to be able to do is transfer a compete disk. I have got
two controllers and four drives on the ][.
I have seen a Mac shareware program which is supposed to transfer disks,
but it only works if you pay a fee, so of course it is impossible to test
it.
Question: is there any way that does not involve expense?
