It might be a good question to ask for the reverse reason that seems to be
implied.  It will allow you to identify the tweaks who will spend more time
fussing around with the company supplied and administered work environment,
and less time writing revenue producing code.

The interviewee gets extra points if it seems they won't be spending half
the workday reading 'open source' newsgroups and poking away at code that
doesn't return revenue to the company.
