Well even after the eventual removal from the price lists didn't stop people
from writing software from it. It probably drove the final nail in the commercial
software area, but for those who wrote because of their passion and love
for the platform were driven away by piracy.

Well we have varying opinions on this. I agree that Apple killed the commercial
market for the Apple II series.
