This may come as a shock to some, but here is the way it is: people like
bootlegging. Just take a look at any of the mp3 binaries groups and you'll
see entire CDs being posted, plus single tracks off albums. You may not be
aware of it, but the reason digital audio tape bombed was because they
planned to make it impossible to dupe tapes. Not being able to bootleg can
make technology fail in the market.
