Thanks for posting to this thread, Mike. I was afraid I was in the wrong
newsgroup in some of the other topics.

My exeperience has been - no major sales drop, and a huge sales increase when I
came onto the web. Then, back to normal - but still a steady stream.  Any sales
decline would be because I didn't write anything that year, and there was
nothing new for the regulars to order.

As for the Apple II, for me it died the day that Beagle Bros turned over their
product support to Quality Computers. It went from personal and friendly to
corporate and low-priority, with techs who didn't even answer the phone, much
less know the answers. Jerry Kindall made a very fine effort for QC, and we did
get AppleWorks 4 and 5 out of it (that probably wouldn't have happened
otherwise). But it was never the same. A symbolic end if you didn't work
closely with Beagle Bros, and a dramatic end if you did.
