You should not make the 19 to 20 part of the AppleWorks 3.0 Y2K patch now
unless you don't plan to use that disk yet. Wait until 2000, unless you never,
never, never use the AW3 features which tack on the century (data base report
dates, the WP {PD} command, UltraMacros). The data base part of the patch is
okay to apply now, just in case you want to enter some data base dates.

Note- if all this thread was about getting Basic System to apply the AppleWorks
patches, be aware that you don't HAVE to use Basic. There are many other ways
to apply the patches. Basic is just one of them (and is the worst way, in my
opinion). There will be a universal patcher available well before "the day." 
..barring any disruptions.
