I must agree with you 100%, Max, with the addition (earlier noted by
Beverly Cadieux) that previously Charles baited Joe Kohn by "offering"
to include one of Joe's csa2 postings in his 'zine.

For awhile, I though that Charles would "live and let live": so long as
someone didn't attack him directly he wouldn't intentionally stir up
trouble. But these two actions make it look like he (and Rubywand) go
out of their way to irritate people they think need to be taken down a
notch.

Up to this point I have never had any direct problems with Charles
Turley & company, and would in fact offer encouragement when I saw
him taking a constructive approach.

Imagine my surprise when I recently entered my name in a search engine
and the second item listed was a directory in Charles Turley's 
GS.WorldView.  It looks like he copied all the software from my
Web site, even though I clearly ask readers not to do that:

  "Although I'm making a number of archives freely available for
   personal use, I'd appreciate it if you would not add them to
   other collections available for download without first getting
   my permission. You can find my e-mail at the bottom of this page." 

I'm not going to threaten to sue Charles Turley or claim that what
he's doing is illegal.  It is rude and irritating.

When I announced my Web site earlier this year, Joe Kohn put a nice
blurb with a reference to the URL in Shareware Solutions II.  A little
later Max Jones did the same thing in Juiced.GS.  Charles Turley
copied everything into his GS.WorldView "diskzine" and (near as I can
tell) did not reference the original Web location.  I felt good about
what Joe and Max did, but pretty negative about Charles' action.
