But don't you see what has happened when people's copyrights are ignored and
violated? The actual people who put out creative output to produce software
have all but been driven away. What's left now? A desperate attempt in
salvaging unreleased, unfinished software? Who now, that has the skills to
write new software for our beloved computer has the passion to do so anymore?

Six years ago when I bought DreamGrapfix from DreamWorld, there was an
ominous note in the documentation. "Piracy is killing the Apple II". Well this
might be old news now, that's exactly what happened.

Well you're right this respect. There's practically nothing left to protect or support
nowadays. Only vultures remain.
