How Things Change and How They Stay the Same

Hi all,

    When I first went onto the Internet back in 1995 and came upn this
group one of the first things I noticed was: (does it sound familiar?) a
flame fest between Mr. Turley and Mr. Nathan Mates (among others).

    Being young and excited about the Internet (and the Apple II) I
ignored the junk and have been around this group (in one way or another)
since 1995.  

    Through the past four years the members of this group have been
subjected to various other "flame" wars which have broken out (Mr. Turley
again, Asimov, etc.), some of which I participated in (unfortunately).  

    But I've learned my lesson.  If any junk pops up, I just ignore them
and pick the posts that are worthwhile to read.  Live Beverly said, there
are a lot of knowledge people here if you can find them.  

    Things have changed (Nathan and quite a few of the older crew either
left or went to Delphi) and some things have stayed the same (Mr. Turley,
and a few of the CSA2 veterans are still around).  

    For better or for worst, this is CSA2.  Let's make the best of it and
keep the A2 alive for as long as we can.
