This might be a little late, but if Bill has a Mac, it might also be worthwhile
to note that Dr. Tom uploaded a DiskCopy image of ShrinkIt v3.4 and
ShrinkIt GS (and binscii) to ground last month. With a Mac, this is the
most straightforward way to get the program. No null modem needed.
No ProTYPE needed. No anything needed.
Here's how it works.
1) Download the DiskCopy image to Mac
2) Run DiskCopy, extract image
3) Mac turns image into a ProDOS disk with ShrinkIt and binscii
4) Take disk to IIc+ and at the "]" prompt, launch ShrinkIt v3.4
This disk was originally in the AOL Apple II Forum and was downloaded
hundreds of times.
