I need to download BASIC.SYSTEM ... help me, Obi-wan!

Hi, I've got a 2E with ProDos and am going nuts... I'm spinning in an
endless loop. I need the BASIC.SYSTEM file so I can play with Basic is
ProDos. All I have now is Appleworks 3.0, a ProDos based terminal program, a
dos 3.3 System Master, and a null-modem connection to my PC which works. I
thought I was almost there when I was getting ShrinkIt, but to change the
filetype of ShrinkIt you have to boot into Basic.

I just can't seem to find BASIC.SYSTEM by itself on the Web, either... it's
usually part of some Shrink or DSK deal.  So assuming I *CAN* download it,
how (without basic) can I change the filetype, and do I really need to
anyway?  Thanks!
