Hi, I see you managed to fix the duplicate icon problem. Thus, you are
now ready to access the power of HFS. ;-)
Look through your System Tools 1 and System Tools 2 disk for a file
called HFS.FST which is probably in the Drivers folder of the System
folder of one of these two disks. Copy that file over to the Drivers
folder (inside the System folder) of your BOOT disk. Now, with the
HFS.FST installed, BOOT your boot disk.
At the Finder, launch ADU. Create the first partition as a 32MB one.
Create a second partition as the remainder of the 200+ meg drive's
space.
Now format the drive. At the left side of the dialog box, you should
now have an "HFS" option as well as a "ProDOS" one. Format the
32MB partition using ProDOS and the large partition using HFS.
Quite back to Finder.
Presto, your two partitions, one 32MB in size (ProDOS) and one
about 200MB in size (HFS) is there!
Install System 6.0 on the ProDOS partition.
Boot the drive. Install any IIGS program (native GS/OS program)
you want on the HFS partition!
