I have a number of those drives and none required term power .
However they all did need a standard SCSI terminator or I got strange errors.

If you can see the drive at all then it likely doesn't require term power.
If you already have a SCSI terminator attatched then it's likely time to
replace
the drive. The SC20 case is designed for either 5.25 or 3.5 drives so most
drives would fit. It coud be a blessing, pocket change would get you a lot
bigger
drive that's probably 2 or 3 times as fast.
