Connect ImageWriterII to PC

Hello,
Please, I need help with this:

I've got an Apple ImageWriter II printer, and I
want to use it on a PC/(Win95, Linux). I have two
problems:

a) The driver: I heard that, on Windows, the
C-Itoh8510 driver might work.

b)the cable: I don't know if it would work if I
put the printer on the serial port of the PC.
Anyway, I couldn't find yet a cable to link
Mini-Din8 to PCserial. I might try to hand-made a
such cable, but I don't know the pin layout.
