Making a 3.5" drive cable to drive's circuit board

I just got a hold of a Laser 3.5" (Chinon) floppy drive. It is
plug compatible with the Macintosh and the Laser. It is
not Apple II compatible (without a Laser UDC card, that is).

Problem: the drive's cable has been severed. I stripped the
cable insulation to reveal a bunch of color wires. Tracing
the wires back to the source revealed an 18-pin plug
(female). It plugs into the 3.5" drive's internal circuit board.

Here's an illustration:

Each period above represents a hole on the plug.

Now I know that the missing part of the severed cable
leads to a DB-19 floppy drive plug intended for the floppy
port of a Mac or Laser (or UDC).

Ok, anyone has an idea as to how I'm going to wire a
replacement? I have an ohm-meter that I can use to
trace continuity, but that's it. Thanks.
