That's what I was saying. I don't *need* to upgrade, especially for $100+
for a controller card. All I really need is a bootable hard drive and I
can use Appletalk to store files on a Mac. And that's what I have.

See, that's the thing. I *don't* have a Vulcan *driver*. None came on
the hard drive or with the machine, and I'm just using it as GSOS 6.0.1
supports it. If there is a specific driver for it, and someone has the
URL, I'll use it.

Yes, I am well aware of lost data with HFS. But with which version of the
FST? Are there still problems with the 6.0.1 HFS FST?
