I think you're tripping over your own cables here. :-)

The images are actually file representations of disks. If you are getting them
on a PC all you really need to do is use ADT and a null modem cable. If you
can't do that use the Shrinkit program in an emulator that uses the images and
make a shrinkit disk archive of the image. Transfer this across the computer
and on the IIgs, unshrink it back to a disk.
