The fastest and easiest way is to hook the two macs up via ethernet, but
unless your 6200 was a work or school machine, it's doubtful that it has
ethernet.

check out http://til.info.apple.com/techinfo.nsf/artnum/n22229 for
information how to make a file transfer via modem.

Alternately, stuff the files you want to transfer from your old Mac,
upload them to http://www.freedrive.com , and then download them with
your iMac.  I think freedrive has a 7 Meg limit, tho.
