Yes. The transfer completes but can't be saved to disk. This
feature is unlocked in the retail version. That's how to get you
to buy the real thing. ;-)
I wonder if the code to save to disk is really missing or is it just
locked out. On some demos, you can "activate" them by editing
the code.

On a standard speed IIGS, 56k transfers should work fine, as
I suspect that it did in your case. The program was just crippled
in this way because it is a demo version.
