That sounds like a good alternative to using one of the X or Ymodem freeware
programs. No auto-recognition is not so bad-- I used Spectrum (and HyperTerm on
the PC) like that for years until Jeff Blakeney mentioned they would
automatically start downloading for a Zmodem transfer.
