    If you mean using a super serial card in slot 2, then it already does.
If you mean bypassing the built-in modem port firmware and going directly to
the SCC hardware, then it does this, too.  You can even use the printer port
for your modem, either through firmware, or directly through hardware with
or without "Your Card" set in the control panel.

    If you've only used the demo, then you've only used the old firmware
driver that I had in (oh geez) version 1.1 or something, back in 1991 or
1992.  Version 2.... uh... 2.13 I think (hey, it's been awhile!) had native
(and fast) drivers for everything.  It also has quite a lot of features that
the demo never had including a full scripting language, lots of file
transfer protocols, an editor... actually, someone who's still using it
could probably tell you more about the features than I can right now since I
haven't played with it in a couple of years :-)
