I used to run my unaccelerated IIgs between 19200 and 57600 all the
time and it seem to work just fine.  It worked better if I shifted
boot, though.  :)

But even so, most of us IIgs users are still not seeing the full
potential of that port speed.  Even my 8 MHz IIgs only gets around
3000 cps doing null-modem transfers from my Pentium II when it can
theoretically be as high as 5760 cps.  I expect my rate will increase
a little more once I upgrade my ZipGS.
